We are looking for an EEG Technologist to join our healthcare team. The EEG Technologist will be responsible for conducting electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients to help diagnose and monitor neurological disorders such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain injuries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of neurodiagnostic procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
As an EEG Technologist, you will prepare patients for EEG procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort throughout the test. You may also assist in other neurodiagnostic tests, such as evoked potentials or sleep studies, depending on the facility’s offerings. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds, as well as provide technical information to physicians.
This position is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, technically skilled, and interested in contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.
